With over two decades of experience organizing luxury safaris since 2001, I bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion to every trip. Originally from the UK, I moved from London to South Africa 13 years ago, where I now live with my husband and our 10-year-old daughter in the charming village of Franschhoek, nestled in the Cape Winelands just outside Cape Town.
Founded in 2014, Sarah James Travel thrives purely through word-of-mouth referrals. Our clients often find us at a dinner party or at the school gate—testament to the trust and personal connections we build along the way.
Over the past years, I’ve immersed myself in the safari lifestyle—managing camps in Zimbabwe and Botswana, leading the ‘Africa Team’ for an award-winning UK tour operator, raising a family in South Africa, and living out incredible travel experiences across the continent.
With 25 years of cultivating strong trade relationships and uncovering hidden gems, I leverage personal connections and expertise to revisit beloved destinations and discover new treasures.
